Below 30th Street in Philadelphia
runs a second road traveled for many years by trucks bring mail and
packages into and out of the Main Post Office. Nearby, trains run in
and out of the lower level terminal at 30th Street Train Station.
The Schulykill River and Expressway are also nearby. The Post Office closed several months after this photograph was taken. The overhead lights are out. |
