The White Horse Tavern coexisted next to the Union Tabernacle Baptist church for many years before the tavern closed in 2007.Nearby on Lancaster Pike, both the Continental and British armies occupied an earlier White Horse Tavern on different evenings between September 15th and 18th in 1777. |
